Eugenie studied art in Amsterdam in her native country, The Netherlands. She grew up in the town of Hilversum and her father was a friend of MC Escher, who lived in nearby Baarn. Eventually, Eugenie immigrated to the United States and opened an antiques business. She has now been in Red Bluff for the past 19 years. She paints most days, surrounded by her birds and inspirational antiques.

Her work today is varied and exciting - always original and always very creative.
